Welcome to the plant-herbivore interaction lab

PHahn_2023

Our goal is to advance the understanding of the natural world through research, teaching, mentoring, and outreach. We are particularly interested in the ecology and evolution of plant-herbivore interactions. We believe our science is better when we work as diverse, collaborative teams. This involves valuing and nurturing ideas and contributions from individuals with diverse perspectives, including individuals historically underrepresented in ecology such as black, indigenous, latinx, women, LBGTQ, and individuals with physical disabilities1. Please check out our research interests, commitment to diversity, or see a list of our recent publications for more information on our work.

We are located in the Entomology & Nematology Department the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. If you are interested in pursuing a graduate degree (MS or PhD) in the field of insect ecology and plant-herbivore interactions, please get in touch!  Check out opportunities here.
